There has never been a more appropriate time to start a food blog even though we are bombarded with Recipes, food trends, plant based and Vegan food ideas, many of us are more confused than ever and seek out simple recipes that suit our Favorite foods.
The one thing that is evident is that we all want to be healthier, we want to eat more home cooked food but we have less time and sometimes less inclination to cook when we are bombarded with food trends and ideas. All Food Bloggers have one thing in common and that’s following what’s important to them, it isn’t about pleasing everyone, its about striking a cord within a niche market that want to read your blog because they like what they see.
Katie Higgins did just that when she started her Food Blog, after blogging for three years, the blog required more time as it grew in popularity and Katie dedicated her time fully to her food blog. The healthy Desserts blog includes recipes for classic Dessert recipes which are healthier alternatives.
Katie Higgins loves desserts and often at College she would eat desserts in place of meals, realizing this was not good from a health point of view she set about making healthy Desserts which meant she could indulge in a Dessert every day and the food blog was born. When you write a blog you may wonder how you are going to attract people to read it and it can be tough in the early days but the one most important thing any food blog needs is to strike a cord with others and Katie’s blog certainly did that and her following began.
The ideas that are the best are the ones that come from personal experience and not being afraid to branch out and start a food blog that’s important to you is vital. If you feel passionate about something and often this is through personal experience, then it will almost certainly be important to others. Katie Higgins developed her own brand through a personal passion for making Desserts healthy and by following her dream, she has created a business opportunity that continues to grow and do incredibly well.
