Start Your Gin Dream With Crowd Funding.

If we go back and take a look at Gin as a drink, probably about the time when it was popular in the 60’s, there really wasn’t much choice in varieties or any real need for choice. The good old fashioned Gin and tonic would be a National favorite for many once the Sun had gone down and the tonic was just as popular as the Gin.

The last five years has seen a Gin revival and its not sitting well as a short trend, the Gin revival is still going with no end in site of the many varieties that are becoming available. The stories surrounding the production of many new Gin varieties has as much to do with the nostalgia surrounding it than the actual Gin itself.

What’s common amongst those that decide to make their own Gin is a love of the drink, coming up with a recipe idea that encompasses the ingredients they most love, experimenting with different variations and finding their niche by creating a drink that includes all of this in one drink.

There is such a wide variety of ways to produce Gin from producing only enough for personal use to setting out on a mission to turn a business idea into a lucrative business and there really is no rhyme or reason, some of the most unlikely of people are deciding to have a go at making their own Gin and some are finding surprising results.  Many do so with little ambition to make their Gin a national success but for a few, this is exactly what happens, the love, nostalgia and energy that goes into a drink can often be enough to throw it squarely into the domain of others who both appreciate and enjoy your drink.

There are different ways to start a Gin business but you will need funds and probably more funds than you have available but if you are adamant that your business idea is worth a shot, are determined and stoic, there are ways you can raise the funds. Many have gone down the crowd funding route to raise the funds they need to make their drink a reality.

If you have a love of Gin, have some great business ideas that encompass your local surroundings and using local ingredients and are prepared to work hard, there is the option to start a crowd funding page to help get your business idea off the ground. In order for people to identify with your project, they must like the business idea, have an affinity with your product and want to see it produced and on the market.

Many small Gin distilleries start from one small idea and spark and go on to be household names, could you Gin be the next talked about drink.
