Many industries are avoided because they are saturated or people believe there is just too much competition. If you have a real look at what is going on with Food business opportunities, you will see that there is in fact many more opportunities still waiting to be made that will carry on the change of food trends.
There are still many food business opportunities for a food chain that offers good old fashioned Roast dinners on demand. As a nation we don’t simply want to eat unhealthy but our lives have changed and even if we work from home, finding the time to cook, have everyone at the table at the same time, seems impossible but tradition still has its place and eating healthy foods is still as important as it always was.
Street food has been simmering under the surface for some time, street food providers are not super talented people that have owned many restaurants, anyone can cook street food especially if they love cooking, have a signature dish and do it well. On Tuesday 18th September those interested in Street food can attend a course, details here to learn more about turning your passion into a Street food business. The course also provides information in what you could earn from a street food business, what to expect and business opportunities.
Starting a Street food business is not about trying to please everyone, its about finding your place and your niche, cooking food you are proud of and that comes from love, Childhood memories and nostalgia.
A Sister Duo Sophie and Molly Chiswell have done just that and set up their own Campervan offering Gluten Free and Vegan Foods. The campervan was an ideal solution when compared against a Café with fixed premises because both wanted to keep their full time jobs and keep costs down. After much planning, Rise And Grind was born and the Quirky mobile café was up for hire at Weddings and events. The foods served will include Foods with only fresh local ingredients and amongst some of the options included are Beetroot and Spinach Wraps, a range of Homemade Cakes, Pastries and Bagels including Tea and Coffee. The magic of the Van doesn’t end there, if the mood takes, the Van can also double as a Preseco and Cocktail Van for your very own Bar.
Sophie and Molly are an example of creating a business opportunity born out of a passion and still maintaining employment. There is no pressure for them as this is largely a hobby for them both at the moment but they seem to have big plans and who know what the future holds.
